Near opaque dark brown beer, decent bubbly dark tan head that lasts a minute. Nose is bruised cherry overlaid by Amaretto. Pretty light palate for the hefty abv, it's mildly dry with decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth and fairly light bodied dark malts but, a nice rich dark chocolate flavour, a little cocoa. The barrelling is a total delight. Some mild wet wood into ripe and rich cherry liqueur with a nice side serving of amaretto liqueur. It all comes together very well indeed. A unique and well thought Impy that is rich, wonderfully flavoured and bloody quaffable.

Dank grapes, melon, kiwi, lime zest. Sweetish grape & kiwi, sourish lime. Bitter grassy hops, bit peppery, citrus pith, warming gin-like alcohol. Average carbonation. Decent, but feels messier than I'm used to from FG.

16oz can pours a yellow gold, light haze, soft, white head. Nose has grain, honey and brioche, some nice lemon notes. Good tannins in the mouth, malt and grass and brioche. Good bite. Medium bodied. Nicely made.
