Cask at GBBF 2006. A hazy amber beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of hops and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, lightly burnt malts, dry flowery hops, and light notes of fruit, leading to a dry woody end.

Cask at GBBF 2006. A hazy orange beer with a beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also light notes of phenol, leading to a sharp bitter end. I wonder what hops have been used.

Cask at GBBF 2006. Dark copper colour with no head. Bit of strongish malt, some alcohol, sweetish malt. Fine. Not too offensive. Malts are sweet but not over dominant.

[Cask at GBBF] Darkish amber. Light resiny hop aroma. Sweet and rounded. Very malty with some flowery hops and spun sugar. Tha maltiness is not very marked, but lingers for ages.

500ml bottle from Tesco. Ruby/dark chestnut colour with lasting tight beige head. Aroma of a mild, bready and yeasty nose. Not too attractive, but so much better in mouth with touch of raspberry fruit and a touch sharp too. Overall quite impressed

Cask conditioned at the 32nd Cambridge Beer Festival, gravity dispense. Deep brown colour. Strong ensilage aroma, some would probably say "with a hint of vomit", some caramel too. Mouthfeel maybe a bit thin. Malty flavour with some caramel. Not much bitterness.

An amber beer with a disappearing head. The aroma is way too sweet for me with notes of berries. The flavor is roasted malty and very sweet. It prickles the tongue while passing - not very nice. And the body is thin.

Bottled. Clear dark brown. Light bodied, nutty and roasty with clean mouthfeel and medium bitterness. Discrete, but very drinkable.

Dark amber color. Aroma of caramel, rotten beer and sour red wine. Poor Vienna.
