Cask@GBBF2009. Coppery colour, small head. Aroma is nutty, caramelly, wooden and mildly chocolateish as well. Flavour is quite much the same, and rather strong in some nutty and cookielike way. Wellbalanced.

Cask@GBBF 2009 as "Patois Ale". Dark amber color, small steady off-white head. Fairly light nose has wood and citrus. Light palate. Some woody notes (a bit dry) and caramel. Weak late bitterness. A bit lame, but a new beer country!

Pale orange-copper. Good imitation of a B.C."H." Good grapey, citric hops, but quite fleetingly; then more normal hops and caramel. Sweet with a good, if light hoppy retronasal flavour - grapey again. Unfortunately, the density is once more so low that it dissapoints overall. Light caramel(syrup?) being the only real filler. Good beginning, but then it - waters down? Many thanks to Stefaan!

Deep chestnut brown; small yellowish head. Earthy, caramel & burnt notes, but not very sweet-smelling. Earthy flavours, husks, dry grain, dark grains notes. Absolutely light, this is really terribly light. The flavourprofile is a superb base, but just a tad - serious tad - too light (I was going to write "British") to be great. Many thanks to Stefaan!

Cask at GBBF 2006. A hazy amber beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of hops and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, lightly burnt malts, dry flowery hops, and light notes of fruit, leading to a dry woody end.

Cask at GBBF 2006. A hazy orange beer with a beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also light notes of phenol, leading to a sharp bitter end. I wonder what hops have been used.

Cask at GBBF 2006. Dark copper colour with no head. Bit of strongish malt, some alcohol, sweetish malt. Fine. Not too offensive. Malts are sweet but not over dominant.

[Cask at GBBF] Darkish amber. Light resiny hop aroma. Sweet and rounded. Very malty with some flowery hops and spun sugar. Tha maltiness is not very marked, but lingers for ages.
