courtesy of jw77. pours orange, no head aroma lots of raspberries but mostly covered by the bourbon. Flavor, definitely bourbon in, blends quite well with the raspberry tartness, some roasted malts, light bitter finish. A little too one dimensional, bourbon might be over the top on this one.

Yet another very cool brew courtesy of markwise. Pours mahogany with thin tan head. The aroma has at first a thin pulse of roasty malts and molasses and then moving into modest red wine grape tartness as well as mild notes of oak. The taste is smooth to start with some roasty malts moving toward sour red wine and then some modest tartness too. It stays modestly tart into the finish and becomes somewhat refreshing.

Wow, yet another tasty brew from Jackie-Os courtesy of markwise. Thanks Mark. Pours dark with garnet edges and thin dark tan head. The aroma has earthy notes mixing with highly roasted malts, a dash of vanilla, near burnt malts and molasses. The taste is a mix of roasty malts, caramel, a touch of vanilla spice and then some sweet molasses. It ends with the addition of some burnt malts pushing up now and then and attempting to dry out the mouthfeel a bit. Pretty nice stuff.

Growler pour courtesy of markwise, thanks again Mark. Pours strikingly clear amber with copper edges and thin nearly white head. The aroma has lots of sweet bourbon and dry oak along with hints of plum fruit meat. The taste is smooth and dry with boozy bourbon, vanilla, oak and some malts. It seems to end with a mild level of vanilla, booze, dryness, oak and more dryness.

Growler pour courtesy of markwise. Pours a strikingly clear garnet with off white head. The aroma is full with bold bourbon and vanilla along with oak and a tasty smelling layer of burnt bread, malts, a touch of cinnamon and a hint of pork sandwich. The taste is smooth and a bit thin with an initial pulse of sweet malts slowly bleeding into sweet bourbon, dry bourbon booze, oak and vanilla. Into the finish a pleasing touch of roastiness wells up amid vanilla and oak.

growler courtesy of markwise. Pours brown, nice light mocha head. Aroma is full of bourbon, dark fruits, and malts. Flavor, bourbon is just a little too forward to fully enjoy the full flavor of the Scottish ale. Addition of the plum adds a thin fruit tartness with hints of chocolate. Tasty beer!

courtesy of markwise, cheers for landing this one. Pours cloudy brown, beige head. Aroma of bourbon, wood/oak, light dark fruits, and some sourness Flavor, unlike the other Jackie-O BB imp stout, this one almost had too much bourbon to be fully enjoyed. Lots odf bourbon on the palate, vanilla, chocolate, malts, caramel, with a boozy finish and overall feeling the bourbon being too forward. definitely a solid beer!
