Gravicask at the Bricklayers Arms Derby Beer Fest. It pours golden yellow/amber, with thin white lace. The nose is straw, hay, cheddar, sweet banana, dough and white sugar. The taste is sweet, syrupy, lots of banana, hay, straw, dough and warming alcohol. Medium to full body, syrupy mouth-feel and soft carbonation. Not bad.

Cask (Market Porter, Southwark) - Golden with a white head. Citrus and grass feature in the aroma. Refreshing taste with kiwi, pineapple and lemon. Refreshing, but could do with a bit more character.

Cask-conditioned at the Derbyshire beer festival, Seven Stars, Bristol 8/12/10. Amber coloured with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of summer fruits and citrus hops. Flavour of slightly sweet, cereal malts with more fruit and a decent, hoppy dry finish. Good.

Cask, handpump at The Coach and Horses, Dronfield, 29-01-10 A6 A5 F8 P4 Ov14 3.7 I asked the barman what the colour was of this beer before trying and was informed that it was chesnut which it clearly was so surprised at the colour change between the beer I had and the one that has already been rated below that appered gold? Pours chesnut, white rim of bubbles, good clarity. The aroma is fruity and there is also a slight wet rustiness. Nutty in the mouth, fruity, tangy pleasant beer with nice maltiness throughout.
