Tap at OBF as Double Dry Hopped Delta Pale Ale. Pours hazy light amber. Aroma of light roast caramel and mild floral hop. Med body. Flavor is roast caramel with a lot of floral and resin hop. It’s malty, but the incredible hop load overcomes that. It’s very refreshing with a floral/fruity finish. Very nice.

6 oz. sample on tap at the brewpub, pours a hazy dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma of scotch, caramel, maple syrup - no hop presence. Flavour of caramel, non-boozy scotch (de-alcoholized scotch, so to speak), maple syrup, with a pleasant sweetness level that doesn't cloy. Well-made and superior to their regular scotch ale I'd say.

6 oz. sample on tap at the brewpub, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of German-style pale malts, grains, slight fruitiness and sweetness. Flavour of sweet malts, grains, slight fruitiness - very German-tasting. Nicely balanced and well-made, though not one of my favourite styles so enjoyability is only moderate for me.

6 oz. sample on tap at the brewpub, pours a hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Very subtle nose of not much - cereal, grains, light spicy and grassy hops. Flavour of dry, spicy, grassy hops and biscuity malt. Pretty bland pilsner - nothing intriguing about this on any level, not even "refreshing" really.

6 oz. sample on tap at the brewpub, pours a cloudy blond with a small white head. Aroma is very light, with grains, light Belgian yeast, subtle dry zesty qualities. Flavour is yeasty and spicy, with bready malts, quite spicy hops and some yeast. Decent for the style, but expectedly bland.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a hazy golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma of candied sugar, sweet green apples / pears and light yeast. Flavour is strange, with some weird mint / peppermint notes, candied sugar, some light sweet fruits. Not at all traditional-styled. The weird mint flavours throw this off for me. Subpar.

Update - Bitter and woody, without any of the sweet floral notes of yesteryear. I am sure my tastes have changes as well. Bottle - Nice balanced citrus hop aroma. Foamy white long lasting head and a bubble clear amber hue. Perfume hopy taste with a candy like sweetness. A bitterness that is midway through making this a very mellow and pleasant session IPA. Update - Draft at brewery, as good. Speaks well to the QA.

On tap at Boundary Bay Brewpub, pours a cloudy golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma of earthy dry hops, caramel / English malt, and slight fruity overtones. Flavour of earthy dry hops, English malt--more pronounced than the nose--finishing with a butter twang. Superior to the regular ESB for sure.

On tap at Boundary Bay Brewpub, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of oats, sweet chocolate and light coffee. Flavour of oatmeal and sweetened chocolate upfront. Medium-to-full bodied with a great balance of sweetness, cut down by the oatmeal. Excellent.
