Didn't care much for this one.Brown in color, beige head. Slightly metallic malt nose.Flavor is all malt but with a yeasty, fatty ending. Decent body

Falls on its face with harsh grainy and tobacco notes. Only disappointing beer from these guys

Supremely balanced between biscuity malt and hops, just the perfect IPA in the mouth. Then the finish is weak and not bitter enough. They got it half right anyways.

A rich espresso, oatmeal, cherries and coffee nose. The mouth has an intense hoppiness to it, but the finish is well rounded. Overall an interesting style that I would like to try more of.

A well balanced body of chocolate, fig, toffee along with some soft caramel notes and a mildly hoppy finish

This beer has a great coffee character to it, even if it is a little on the light side for a stout.

A sweet malty nose typical of Scottish ales, then follows up with hints of whiskey and caramel in the mouth leading into a well hopped finish. I must be the only one who thinks this is hoppy for the style.

(cask) Very dark brown, reddish shine; dense yellowish head, stable. Woody & caramel notes in the nose, dark malts in evidence. Rich chocolate and winey flavours, bitter malts finish. Rich, full bodied, at the same time as light impression without watery texture. If it were just a little less harsh on the burnt malts palate, I'd rate it quite high.

Cask: Deep brown with loose tan head.Lightly toasted nose. Light roasted flavor with dry malt finish. A thin porter, made to seem even thinner by the cask. Ok, but a poor choice for cask
