Description
Labatt has deep roots in Canada stemming from its founder John Kinder. In 1847, a little more than a decade after arriving in London, Ontario from Ireland, John Kinder Labatt purchased London's Simcoe Street brewery in partnership with Samuel Eccles and by 1855 had become the brewery's sole proprietor. The brewery was later renamed John Labatt's Brewery, marking the beginning of one of Canada's largest and most successful companies.
In 1995, it was purchased by Belgian brewer Interbrew. Labatt is now part of the new company, Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev).

Bud Light From Canada, eh? Standard Marco brew. Pale yellow, minimal head, some lacing. Light sweet taste. No bitterness no hops. Tasteless, does not leave anything on palate or as an aftertaste. Might as well be drinking water. Best enjoyed if it falls into one of the following categories: Free or you are really desperate to quench your thirst and facing some tough choices. Pass it...

Had the pleasure of revisiting this at a bar in Victoria on Monday. Thanks for reminding me of the rancid think you guys do with water and have the audacity to name beer. It reminds me of my misguided youth and makes me want to run outside and see if there are any election signs to steal or fences to jump in seek of midnight trampoline jaunts. I’m feeling lucky. Are you, punk?

Can shared by Karol. Aroma sugary, syrupy, light fruits. Clear light yellow colour. Taste is watery, sugary, fruity. Lightly acidic. No finish, no body :D Fizzy carbonation. Generic.

Can from and shared with Karol, many thanks. Pale golden color with minimal white head. Very ugly old malt aroma. Taste, sweet malt, fruity notes, sugar, lot of sugar. Blah.

Update of old tick. A touch more character than its pale lager brethren with some fruit and a touch of spice, but still very middle of the road.

Bardzo przeciętne i bardzo słabieńkie piwo. Puszka więc aluminiowy posmak, zbożowo-kukurydziany smak. Aromat żaden. Dobrze gasi pragnienie, to chyba jedyna zaleta

New plastic smell. Golden, medium head. Hot, but not too bad for 10+%. Rotten grapes is dominant. Actually has character.
