Description
Labatt has deep roots in Canada stemming from its founder John Kinder. In 1847, a little more than a decade after arriving in London, Ontario from Ireland, John Kinder Labatt purchased London's Simcoe Street brewery in partnership with Samuel Eccles and by 1855 had become the brewery's sole proprietor. The brewery was later renamed John Labatt's Brewery, marking the beginning of one of Canada's largest and most successful companies.
In 1995, it was purchased by Belgian brewer Interbrew. Labatt is now part of the new company, Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev).

Another bland cereal lager, but with fewer calories.Yea! Otherwise it’s watery with just a hint of flavor. Not sure why these are so big in the States...

Single can from a Hull convenient store. Pours a light golden colour with a white cap that leaves tiny bubble lacing and a decent ring around the collar. The nose is grainy with notes of honey. Same for the taste with hints of watered-down molasses in the aftertaste. So, does not taste like a pilsener (nor beer), but is not as light as expected.

Can: Poured a bright yellow color lager with a small bubbly head. Taste is a mix between adjunct notes with too much residual sugar with some lime and clear refreshing mint notes. Taste is a refreshing mix of lime and mint but unfortunately is thrown off-balance by way too much sugar. I am no big fan of those types of beers though mint is an interesting ingredient to add here, the whole thing ends up being way too sweet.

Stolen from my grandparents fridge: I drank this out of the bottle, because I don’t care. I was expecting something truly awful, but was somewhat pleasantly surprised that this was actually not quite as bad as I had expected. Yes, this barely qualifies as a beer, and, yes, this barely has any taste, but it does have some and that taste is actually tolerable. Not the worst thing I ever done drank.

Arôme et goût inexistant. Une bière cheap et complétement inintéressante. À éviter.

Bière ayant peu de saveur, peu d’arôme mais un arrière goût très prononcé, voir désagréable. À boire en cas de nécessité extrême...

Simply a weaker looking, weaker tasting version of itself. No real point to it.

Half decent tap lager if options are few and far between, but has only a mild taste.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a pale clear gold with about a finger of white head that completely dissipates in about 30 seconds. Aroma of corn, grain and some light fruity junk. Taste is light bitter. Corn and grain with a little skunk. Medium bodied with a thin watery texture. Lively carbonation and not much of a finish. Overall, I’ve had much worse. Not something I would seek out, but drinkable.
