Mmmm...more after hockey beer. Here goes.
I’ve had this more than enough times in my life out of pint glasses and pilseners.
The appearance was a clear light yellow color with a quarter of a finger’s worth of white head that dissipates immediately. There is no lacing.
The smell was an over-cooked corn perhaps some sort of old vegetable-ness.
The taste was bland but also somewhat sweet. There was no aftertaste nor finish.
On the palate, it sat exceptionally light. Honestly, there really isn’t much else to say.
Overall, it is what it is for the masses. For me, I most likely wouldn’t have this again.

I just recently found the notes on this one as I’ve had this more than enough times over the years.
This was poured into a pilsener and a pint glass at various times. I’ve had this in the bottle and from the can.
When this is poured, the appearance was a transparent golden yellow with strings of carbonation seen rising at a drastic pace. There is a one finger white foamy head that fizzles within seconds and leaves no lacing.
The smell is weak through super light corn and rice adjuncts.
The taste is mainly just corn sweet with a crisp corn/rice aftertaste and no finish.
On the palate, it sat extremely light for the style and had a carbonation that is fairly smooth. It did have an extremely good sessionability about it.
Overall, though not exactly my cup of tea, I understand this enough to say its not bad for the style but its not one I’d generally seek out. Probably shotgun one at a party if it was served, but other than that, it is what it is.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden color beer with a pure white foamy head with limited retention and almost no lacing. Aroma of sweet adjunct notes with quite a bit of residual sugars. Taste is also dominated by adjunct notes with light sweet finish. Body is light with medium carbonation. Not as bad as I had expected but again not something I would seek again.

Poured from a 12oz bottle. Aroma has a muted roast character with some light coffee and faint chocolate notes. Medium light dark fruit esters with faint banana and tropical fruit. Pours a clear, dark brown with some lighter brown highlights and a medium thick, moderately sized tan head that recedes to the edges where it lingers. Flavor has a faint sweetness with moderate roast and coffee notes and light chocolate character. Mid to late palate you pick up some fruit notes of berry, cherry and prune with faint hints of banana and tropical fruit. Finish has a lingering roast note. Medium light bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low, but present astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall a pretty unimpressive stout with a surprisingly large ester quality. Nice roast notes along with light chocolate, but not as Bright as they could be. Good mouthfeel with slight stickiness.

Bottle. Light molasses, chocolate, and barley malt aroma. Black brown with a large tan head. Burnt barley malt, dark fruit, and a long roasty bitter finish. Light body, lively carbonation.

12 oz. bottle. Thanks, Michael! Pours black, with a small, beige head. Chocolate, tobacco, and syrup aromas, with some light spicy and resinous hop aromas. Sweet, with an unpleasant burnt bitterness that lingers far into the finish. Relatively nice, sweet stout, but the flavor is unpleasantly bitter.

Kind of a sickly, syrupy taste to this one. Pours dark enouhh with ok head as poured into the snow waiting for the bus in Aylmer. Sweet finish. Low carbonation. Lets leave this style to the craft brewers boys. Bottle from Bieres du monde across thr street.
