On tap at The Magnet, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is very peppery, with a fragrant, spicy, peppery saison yeast character that seems bang on point. Flavour follows as expected, with plenty of black pepper, spicy saison yeast, and a dry herbal character that works very well. Spicy, dry, peppery, and fragrant. Excellent.

On tap at Strange Fellows, pours a clear dark amber brown with a small white head. Nose has toasted nuts, bready malt and a hint of dry caramel. Flavour is dry and malty, with toasted caramel, bready malt and a touch of nuttiness. Clean and well-made for the style. Decent.

473mL can. Clear golden colour with thick foamy white head. Nice aroma, musty with piney hops and light malts. Flavour is excellent; great musty pine hop expression, some sweet malts, solid bitterness. Great triple IPA.

12oz at brewery. Pours deep dark brown with thin head. Aroma has pretty nice balance of toasted malts and pine hops. Flavour again has some toasted malts and pine; also some vaguely herbal or grassy notes. Decent beer, but feels a bit lacklustre for a black IPA.

12oz at brewery. Pours clear gold with foamy white head. Aroma has subtle notes of pine. Flavour has notes of pine, resin, grass, and some light malts. A bit too light-handed with the hop flavours, but otherwise a good IPA.

Bottle: Poured a reddish color ale with a medium foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of tart notes with some nice blackberry with some nice oka notes that are easily noticeable. Taste is also a mix of tart notes with some fresh blackberry and oak notes with no discernible acidity. Body is pretty full with good carbonation. Enjoyable sour with a good level of complexity and good drinkability.

Pale, slight haze, thin head. Clean biscuity pale malt. Almost sticky. Berryish, mellow hop character. Moderate bitterness. This hop profile almost wants a leaner malt base to let the subtler hop characteristics shine through a bit more.

473mL can. Pours clear amber with small white head. Aroma a bit malty with smoky liquor notes. Flavour is predominantly smoky malts with notes of bourbon. Simple, but enjoyable.

473mL can. Pours clear copper with small foamy white head. Aroma slightly sweet with lightly roasted malts. Flavour has slightly tangy toasted malts. Some gingery spice on the finish. Well-carbonated in the mouth. Pleasant.
