33cl fles op de laatste openingsdag van Lekkerbier de bierwinkel in Joure gehaald, schenkt zwart met schuimige bruine/kaki kraag. aroma van mouten, chocolade, koffie, gebrande- en geroosterde mouten, licht zuurtje. smaken zijn koffie, chocolade, haver, volmoutig, melkchocolade. redelijk body, romig en glad van textuur, lage co2, afdronk zoetig en iets droog. Dit is mijn eerste bier van Van Moll, en ik moet zeggen dat deze wel naar meer smaakt. prima bier !

Bottle from Benzai (Thanks) shared with Niller - pours black with a good brown coloured head. Roasted malty aroma and taste, chocolate, coffee, light vanilla notes in the background, roasted finish. Nice.

Bottle from Bert’s Bierhuis Biltstraat, BB 21/11/2016, large sample. Hazy amber color, medium frothy off-white head. Aroma of soft fruity hop, bit caramel, slight cookie and toffee, slight spicy note from the yeast. Bit bitter in taste, toffee, molasses, and a bit metallic finish. Ok.

Tap @ Van Moll. Hazy orange colour with a creamy, medium sized off-white head. Smells hops, fresh, fruity, apricot, mango, peach, nice. Tastes fruity, fresh, hint of lime, peach, fruity, malts, sweet. Really fruity. Medium body, nice crisp carbo. Slightly lemony aftertase.

Draft at Uiltje. Pours cloudy brown with a small off white head. Aroma of caramel malt, grass and fruity hops. Flavor is light sweet and heavy bitter. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. Way too bitter.

(Bottle, Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 1 March 2015) Amber colour with dense, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, orange peel, hints of rye and citric hops. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, orange peel, a touch of grapefruit, crisp-bread and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh and tasty. Nice one.
