Can at Gent tasting. Opaque jetblack color, beige to mocha colored head that's quite creamy actually. Very strong roasted malts and burnt malts aroma and flavor. Very bitter as well. A bit over the top imo. Hmm a bit harsh imo.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, beige head, non adhesive. Aroma: oh my, good roast, chocolate, very malty. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: good roast, some alcohol, very bitter, malty, chocolate, some charcoal. Aftertaste: very bitter roast, coffee, alcoholic touch, caramel malts, bitter finish.

33 cl. can @ home, bought @ Kulenborgse Bierhandel. Pitch black with a beige head. Roasted malts aroma with coffee and chodolate and some citrus hops. Sweet taste with a long roastbitter finish. Thick and creamy. A great 'standard' imperial stout.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy orange amber, thin beige head. Aroma: Sweetish, fruity, dessert wine. Taste: Over medium sweet, dessert wine, grape, malty, light bitterness. Oak wood and vanilla notes. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Nice slow sipper, but I don't understand why they used the combination of ageing on dessert wine, Rum and Bourbon barrels. All three are basicly sweetish. Maybe it added some more complexity, but I can't clearly recognize all of them. I think it maybe would have been more interesting using more contrasting barrels?

33cl can at tasting. Poured dark brown in color, thin head. Plummy and raisiny malty, quite sweet obviously but balanced. Abv hidden. Light spiciness.
