16 oz. draft at the brewery. Pours a pitch black color with a dark beige head and good retention. Light lacing. Strong dark malt molasses aroma. Strange salty resinous flavor. Not enjoyable. Medium body. Low carbonation. Light bitterness.

Can. Dark golden-amber in color with a nice three finger head. The aroma has a noticeable honey smell. The taste was more bitter then I would expect. While it had notes of honey there wasn’t very much sweetness.

Since no reviews of the Problem Solver have been posted for nine months, that means this can's either super-fresh or super-old. No dating on the bottom, so who knows? Doesn't matter; either way, this brew's one harsh, astringent beast. a massive booze-bomb full of wet malt funkiness and a white-hot back end. Mild citric hop notes are no match for the giant caramel-and-damp-grain backbone, while the finish turns simultaneously cloying, bitter and fierce, the liquor burn announcing every last digit of the 11.5% ABV. Pours a pretty orange with a permanent off-white head, but the nose is musty cardboard and alcohol. Just a brutal pint.
