500ml @ Matt's men's cave shared by Phill. Appearance: very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: lots of spice, some roasted malts. Taste: along the same lines, moderately sweet, good body. Overall: good for those who like spices.

Poured from 650mL can. Near black with small beige head. Tons of pumpkin spices, lactose, roast malt, feint bourbon, decent.

Dark brown. Not much head. On the nose, lots of cinnamon, some nutmeg, a decent coffeeish stout underneath. Body does seem to be a little light, with a mellow chocolate, and a metric fuckton of spice. Kind of clubs you over the head, to the point where you don't even really figure out the bourbon. But it's still not bad, actually.

500mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of earthy pumpkin spices, lactose, and medium roast. Flavour has a sturdy roasted malt base, with bourbon, plenty of pumpkin spices, and some earthiness. The sugars seem to be attenuated well, allowing the pumpkin spices to take over in a complementary way. Surprisingly good for a BA pumpkin impie stout.

A red copper barleywine with a very thin light mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with vinous notes, dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice and smooth.

Can: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some lacing notes. Aroma of black chocolate notes with some floral coffee notes with some vanilla and bourbon notes with light lactose notes. Taste is also a mix of black chocolate notes with some floral coffee notes and some vanilla and bourbon with some sweet lactose notes offsetting any rough edges. Body is full with creamy texture and good carbonation and no real warming alcohol notes are perceptible. Nice coffee/bourbon stout with nice creamy feel.

Can: Poured a cloudy deep burgundy color ale with a small off-white foamy head with limited retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet caramelized malt notes with light grainy notes and residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of sweet caramelized malt notes with light grainy notes and some fruity notes. Body is full with medium carbonation with some warming alcohol notes. Intense barleywine and glad I shared the bottle many ways.

Dark brown colour, not much carbonation, almost no head. Treacle and malt juice, sweet, silky, with loads of bourbon, dark fruits, ripe dates, comforting alcohol warmth.

Dark brown colour, no head. Aroma of alcohol and malt. Good body strength; nice malt and chocolate flavour; the alcohol is really scorching, though. It ends like a hot beer.

Opaque chestnut colour. Aroma of vanilla, malt, toffee. Full bodied; it has good malt depth (which is ofen missing in most Barley Wines); sweet; strong bourbon character, maybe even too strong, makes me wonder how was the base Barely Wine; pleasant alcohol warmth.
Excellent
