473mL can, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma has plenty of bourbon barrels, a touch of roast, and light molasses. Flavour has plenty of bourbon barrels, medium roast, and a touch of sugars. Good barrel presence, but the base beer isn't all that stellar. Pleasant.

Vintage 2021. Aroma vanilla and malt, maybe rye but could be confirmation bias. Lovely dark chocolate flavour; not overpowering. Some boozy warmth.

Poured from 500mL bottle (thanks Taylor). Very dark brown with minimal beige head. Feint dark fruit, nice bourbon character, decent.

Dark brown, not much head. Pours inky. The barrel pops from the aroma. There's some dark fruit notes and chocolate. On the palate, it's soft and integrated. The whiskey is mellow, working with the dark sugars to round the beer out. Just a touch of roastiness, and a moderate bitterness that's just enough. The only time the alcohol shows is retronasal.

2021 vintage. 500mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma reveals a very nice bourbon barrel character, moderate roast, a touch of vanillin, and light oak. Flavour is rich, with intense bourbon barrels, moderate roast, and charred oak. Tons of charred oak, lightly vanilla-y bourbony finish. Really tasty.

A hazed blonde ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light woody Gin barrel notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with Gin barrel, light Brett, very nice.

500ml (thx, Brian C.!) @ Ryan's. Appearance: hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: nice gin, botanicals, Brett, and fruity notes. Taste: along the same lines, nicely balanced. Overall: maybe it's a bit overly carbonated, but it's definitely a nice gin barrel aged beer.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Lightly hazed gold with small white head. Bright gin, some funk, fair bit of carbonation. Enjoyable.
