500mL bottle, pours a dirty black with a tiny beige head. Aroma has a somewhat harsh barrel character -- with somewhat harsh bourbon, some smokiness and lots of toasted oak. Flavour is better than the nose suggests, with lots of smoky bourbon barrels, toasted oak, and some char. Finishes fairly charred, with smoky bourbon and minimal sweetness. Excellent.

Dark chestnut colour. Aroma of toffee, malt, with vanilla accent. Full bodied, boldly sweet but not thick; good malt base, toffee, rich; strong bourbon character (booze and vanilla are well present), warming finish. A bit nutty, eventually. Very good.

Hazy, bright amber colour. Bit of malt, soapy, not much complexity, barrels maybe, and alcohol; messy. Forgettable.

500mL bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is full of maple syrup, toffee, and some brown sugar. Flavour has toffee, brown sugar, and a touch of maple syrup. A bit thin-boded, but has a nice malt character. Good stuff.

Hazy amber. No head. This one has a lot of phenols, bubblegum, sticky, thin, and with a touch of sticky malt. A boozy mess, really, and the phenols don't work.
