Hazy peach colored pour, with a big frothy white head. Lovely floral aroma of sticky green hop cones, lime zest, and acidic pineapple. Lovely carb, and mouth feel. Finish is very zesty, with some nice citus oil flavours. Light to medium bitterness, with some subtle stone fruit. Incredibly drinkable, excellent!

Cloudy black pour, big brown head. Big pine resin aroma with some good roast, mbut the hops dominate. Goid mouth feel, solid carb. The finish is medium bitter with a huge amount of piney hops, with subtle coffee, and cocoa flavours. This is a very highly hopped, hop forward porter. Nice stuff, bordering on black ipa.

Hazy yellow pour, big white head. Big tropical fruit aroma, some light banana, mango, even some soft herbs, especially mint. Good mouth feel, good carb. Finish is lightly bitter, very fruity, again very forward on tropical fruit with a fresh green hop cone finish. Really nice stuff.

500ml @ Matt's house. Appearance: very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: meaty, sweet, bold. Taste: along the same lines, meaty notes are almost covered by sweetness and good maple notes. Overall: quite good.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Near black with minimal beige head. Mild charred oak, light chocolate, feint underlying maple, enjoyable Rat Queen variant.

500mL bottle, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma has a somewhat harsh bourbon barrel character, a touch of maple, and medium roast. Flavour is more integrated and pleasant, with a real nice maple character, plenty of bourbon barrels, medium roast, and a touch of vanillin. The maple character is integrated very well with the bourbon. Excellent.

500ml (thx, Brian C.!) @ Ryan's shared with Faress and a gang. Appearance: dark brown with a weak beige head. Aroma: boozy, somewhat grassy, and a bit meaty, meh. Taste: along the same lines, quite harsh and not nicely balanced compared to their other beers. Overall: ok.

Dark brown. No head. This has a really nice barrel aroma, toast, vanilla, a bit nutty. A bit of dark malt, some fruitiness, a touch of alcohol. I really like the treatment on this. There's a bit of deep fruitiness to it, with again a complex barrel character. Very good.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Near black with almost no beige head. Young wood forward, some bourbon, mild dark fruits from the barley wine, better than regular Barncat Seven, about on par with original (non-double barrel) Seven.
