New England Bucket List Trip #139. Growler from the brewery. Pours a clear amber with a thin fizzy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of citrus, tropical, piney hops, lemon, clean pale malt. The taste is tropical, citrus, piney hops, pale malt. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness.

Keg at the brewery. Pours a clear dark amber with a thin creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of anise, dark fruits, caramel. The taste is anise, dark fruits, caramel, mild roasted malt. Medium bodied, mild lingering spice.

4 oz pour on draft at Spacebar. Dark brownish black with off-white to light tan head. Aromas of rye, roasty, chocolate, spice. Tastes of nice rye, dark chocolate, roast, coffee, grains. Medium body with a dry finish. Nicely done on the rye.

Keg at the brewery. Dark brown with a medium sized creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of bourbon, toffee, vanilla, roasted malts. The taste is roasted malt, chocolate, rye, vanilla, bourbon. Medium bodied, mild lingering roastiness.

Draft at the source. Poured a dark brown, cola color with some dark amber notes on the edge of the glass. Aroma is light woody vanilla, roasted malts, some light spicy grain notes. Flavor was light barrel vanilla, coffee, dark chocolate notes with roasted malts.
