Can at home 24/01/2024 Malty and subdued hoppy, vague fruity notes, wort, cereal, watery body, not getting much hops despite a rather a dry acrid bitter edge into the finish.

33 cl bottle bought at La Birroteca, Alcalá de Henares. A hazy lemony golden pour with a long-lasting, rocky, snow-white head. Aroma is not too intense: grass, lemon, hay, citrus zest. Mouth is fizzy, dry, low-bodied, rather bitter. Medium-lingering aftertaste.

330ml bottle bought at La Boutique de la Cerveza - Estucerveza.com in Valencia. Bubbly, tan head over a coal black body, rings of lace down the glass. Inviting aromas of roasted dark malts, bread and earthy chocolate. Dark malt-forward taste of chocolate, liquorice, and syrup. Roasted chocolate malty finish, earthy. Warming on the swallow. Decent sipper on a Friday eve. A bit heavy to drink, though. (Apartment, La Vila Joiosa, 23.02.2024).

Canned, 330 ml. Courtesy of and shared with Luka and Zec. Black with brownish head. Chocolate, vanilla, some coffee, sweet and oily. Almost full bodied.

Tap at Hoppiness, Barcelona, with Vincent and Matthijs, 6th February 24. Pours a slightly hazy orange. Aroma is bitter citrus, floral. Taste is bitter, citrus and I suspect Sorachi hops, which I like. Nice bitter IPA

440ml. can. @Sindueña, Compostela. 03/02/2024 [#7.004 Global - #1.400 Spain - #11 Cerveses La Pirata] Pours orange with a minimal white head. Aroma: ripe stone fruits, DMS and citrus rind. Taste: citrus rind, yeast and peach. Overly sweetness mouthfeel. Next one please!

Servida en pinta, color oro anaranjado, velada, corona de espuma blanca de media retención. En nariz notas de piel de naranja, lúpulo ligeramente terroso, algo de fruta, malta... En boca es sobria, amarga, con ligeros toques cítricos y levemente frutales, notas de pomelo, algo de piña, ¿comino?...Una cerveza de buen nivel, disfrutable y definitivamente correcta, mas no es mi estilo de IPA favorito precisamente,
