355mL can, pours a clear dark amber/rose with a small off-white head. Nose is full of rosé wine notes, crisp apple skins, and some apple core. Flavour is surprisingly complex, with plenty of rosé wine, a touch of funk, apple core, some apple skins, and even some bugginess. There’s certainly some pucker, but it’s incorporated well. There’s a tiny bit of residual sweetness on the finish, which is just enough to complement the rosé character. Frankly, this is excellent.

Aus der Flasche (Vintage 2016 bbe 01.06.2028 ) im 2025-11 getrunken. Diesem rose farbenden Cider merkt man die 9 Jahre überhaupt nicht an. Es ist immer noch spritzig, mit ausgewogener Säure und Aromen von Äpfeln und dunkler Beeren. Ein tolles Cider!

Jug pour at Koht, served hot, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of Xmas spices, apple skins, and gentle brown sugar. Flavour is extremely spicy, with intense cinnamon, intense nutmeg—man, that clears the sinuses—with the apple juice in the background, with gentle sugars on the finish that get overshadowed by the intense spices. Not sure this works for me. The spices are too abrasive.

On tap at Põhja Konn, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma exudes plenty of rhubarb upfront, with crisp apple skins, and gentle acidity. Flavour is a little sweet but it’s complex, with intense rhubarb, gentle acidity, and apple skins. The rhubarb adds a wonderful juiciness. This is fantastic.
