Very deep brown with a small beige head. This definitely feels on the thinner and lighter side of a Baltic Porter. Has some dark malts a little bit of chocolate some caramel. Light earthy in the finish. Along with some sweetness. Medium body. It’s OK, but not what you expect from Baltic.

Bottle. Color: Hazy, lightly reddish, golden, very thin white head. Aroma: Funky, hints of leather, vinuous notes. Taste: Mix of fruity vinuous notes, malty, leathery and stable-like funk and oak wood. Quite a lot of funk. Tannins. Dry mouthfeel at the finish. Medium body, low carbonation. Moderate to over moderate tartness.

Bottle. Gusher. Color: Hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Malty, vinuous. Taste: Following the aroma. Malty, vinuous, grape, some wood. Moderate tartness. Medium body, just above average carbonation. Would benefit from a little less carbonation, in my opinion. Some years ago La Calavera beers were well available over here in The Netherlands. Nowadays it's hard to find them. Luckily I've found some new ones at Etre Gourmet in Belgium. Still enjoyable...

Color anaranjado, nebulosa, forma una fina capa de espuma muy cremosa y de excelente retención. Aroma a hierba, resina y citricos. En boca entra amargota desde el primer sorbo, carbonatación media con fondo sutilmente dulce y destellos citricos, notas de pomelo, naranja amarga, pino, piel de naranja confitada, resina...final muy seco y amargo. Una cerveza con rock & roll
