Keg at the Letra taproom, Porto, 28/10/22. Clear golden amber with a thin off white covering. Nose is tart fruits, grape must, red berry skins, earthy, funk. Taste comprises bitter fruits, funk, vinous, vanilla, oak, tannins, damp wood. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a light acidic rise. Okay sour.

Bottle 33cl. from Alehub @home poured into a chalice. Murky brown colour, only some foam while pouring, no head enlacing. Aroma vinous, fortified wine, soy sauce, dark fruit, wood notes, rum. Complex taste, above medium sweet and slightly bitter, light to medium sour, syrup, soy sauce, dark and red fruit, balsamico, alcohol. Full body, oily to sticky texture, soft carbonation, more sourness in the fruity aftertaste, wood notes, boozy, spicy notes, interesting beer, real sipper, not really my thing but quaffable.

Hazy blond colour with lasting thin head. Aroma and flavour have bitter citrus pith and zest. Quite floral too. Surprisingly bitter for the style.

Can, small stable bubbly head, cloudy darkish orange colour, citrus, peach and apricot and some maltiness behind and a hint of hay, light to medium bitterness. Nice, simple and enjoyable.

Bottle. Color: Hazy orange, very thin white head. Aroma: Notes of Sherry, red wine and spicy notes. Some tartness and some sweetness. Taste: Over moderate tart and moderate sweet. Fruity grape and citrus, notes of sweetish Sherry, red wine, oak wood, tannins. Spicy hints. Dry finish. Typical La Calavera. A lot of flavors to explore slow sipping. Medium body, low carbonation.

Keg @ Craft Beer Helsinki 2024. Poured unclear light amber in color. Woody and slightly funky nose with tartness, some rhum notes, peaches and apricotty notes. Good!

Draught@Craft Beer Helsinki 2024. Hazy amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is tart berries, some wood, mild rum sweetness and a bit oak. Flavour is tart fruits and wood with some rum sweetness and mild grassy and herbal tones. Nicely dry palate. Also some slight zesty elements in the finish with a bit of funk.
