Bottle from the Bristol Cider Shop. Pale gold with a hint of green. Dead flat. Dry pear fruit aroma with some woodiness. Heavy, slightly oily mouth feel, with flavours beginning with dry, acidic fruit before giving way to some sweetness. Finish was dry with an after taste of pear skin. Good.

Bottle that Isobel (Loz’s mum) kindly picked up for me at The Hop Pocket shop, Herefordshire (think?) consumed 10.08.10 Pours pale gold, crystal clear and with just a few stray bubbles showing, its a good looker. This may say medium dry but it’s anything but, really quite sweet but very nice. Plenty of honey amongst the apples, and maybe a touch of floralness though I could be being bamboozled by the name on that one. Easy to get on with cider that will appeal to many. From a polypin at the Orchard, Bristol November 2009. Pale, slightly hazy gold. Fruity aroma of apple juice with a hint of honeyed sweetness. Very easy drinking, perhaps more medium than sweet, with a lingering juicy finish.
