Had this on tap at the brewpub, Amsterdam, 27th Oct 2009 Pours crystal clear gold with a white head, thats also clingy and filmy. Nice aroma, though I can’t quite pinpoint it, butb there is a good tang from the pilsner malts and hops. A pilsner that I really like. A7 A5 F7 P4 Ov14 3.7

Had this on tap at the brewpub, Amsterdam, 27th Oct 2009 Pours a warm yellow colour, quite hazy with a white clingy head. This is spicy sweet with a nice warmth from the alcohol and also with a slight numbness from the alcohol, there is also a nice sweet honeyness. I’ve had six great beers from this brewery, really lovely day here. A7 A4 F8 P4 Ov14 3.7

Had this on tap at the brewpub, Amsterdam, 27th Oct 2009 Pours murky amber with a whitefilmy head. This has a slightly muted nose but there is a touch of vanilla and spice. Good warmth from the alcohol, this like the other beers is quite lovely. A7 A3 F7 P4 Ov15 3.6

Had this on tap at the brewpub, Amsterdam, 27th Oct 2009 Pours hazy yellow in colour with a clingy off white filmy head. Wheaty on the nose along with some citrus, its a very nice aroma actually. Taste is really quite full on for a wheat which is really pleasant and makes a nice change. This has some oomph, though remains a refreshing, clean and tasty beer A8 A4 F7 P4 Ov15 3.8

Had this from bottle at the brewpub, Amsterdam, 27th Oct 2009 Pours hazy dark brown with an off-white filmy head. There are malts and hops in abundance on the nose and also in the mouth along with a nice chewiness, bit of banana and a very nice warmth from the alcohol. Soft in the mouth, good spiciness, powerful brew, but tasty stuff and the third very nice beer from this brewpub. A7 A4 F7 P5 Ov15 3.8

Had this on tap at the brewpub, Amsterdam, 27th Oct 2009 Pours hazy conker brown with an off white head. There is a touch of dark sugar on the nose along with some spices and a trickling bitterness. There is a nice tangy fruitiness, possibly some corainder seed amongst the spiciness. Good maltiness, but not as sweet or malty as I expected. There appears to be a nice signature flavour running through these t ij beers. Another great beer in an excellent brewpub. A7 A4 F7 P4 Ov15 3.7

Bottle. A nice red / brown color with a large white head. Wonderful fragrance of mainly fruit, yeast, and various spices. Spicy taste with particular coriander and some cinnamon. Also some citrus and apricot. Quite a bit of sweetness. A beer that was easy to drink, medium body.

[9/10/09] Bottle at a friends’ house in Amsterdam. Aroma of green apples, hops, citrus, yeast, brett, a bit of hay notes - seems like it’s quite infected but not in such a bad way. Flavor starts with a bit of sweet malt, but very quickly turns sour-bitter with strong noble hops, citrus, grass, fruits and some infection sourness. Light-bodied. Still decent even though heading towards a train wreck. Not very Pils-like anyway.
