Description

Share bottle at RB/HD at Gunnar´s 29.11.16. Hazy pale golden. Dense and persistent off-white head and lacing. Superb aroma of lychee, yeast and berries, with a distinct Belgian sourness. Taste of pale malt, lychee, some citrus and Belgian yeast. Rather good!

Bottle at home. It pours a lightly hazed yellow/gold color with a white head. The aroma has some moldy grapefruit funk. Very bright and potent. Hints of pome fruits. The flavor is very bitter with grapefruit pith and rind. Some moldy lemon. Potpourri. Strong acid with some hints of solvent on the exhale. A little astringency on the palate. Barely noticeable malt. A little rough.

33cl bottle, courtesy of 77ships @ Sebletitje’s Farewell Tasting.

Bottle shared by 77ships @ Sebletitje’s Farewell tasting. Hazy orange color, small off-white head. Something weird in the arom that I can’t put my finger on. Flavor has it as well. Is it something floral or something herbal? Weird.

Bottle at home. Pours a slightly hazy deep red colour with a big pink head. Well carbonated. Aroma of red currants, cherries, oak, brown sugar, forest floor, spices, earth and apple cider vinegar. Sour flavour with lime, sour berries, oak, earth, forest floor and wheat. Has a slick and soft mouth feel, full-bodied and a light bitterness. A fruity and sour ale with sweet undertones. Well balanced.

Pretty tart, hint of lacto which I don't like in my sour beers, but it doesn't last long so drinkability is high.
