Mahou San Miguel
Established in 2011
Now their idea has been given a home, so to speak – and the beer nomads have settled down a bit, because since 2018 the Nómada beers are being brewed in the pilot brewhouse of Mahou San Miguel's Alovera facility. This alliance with Mahou San Miguel (with a stake of 40% in Nómada) is intended to help the brand focus more closely on the Spanish beer market.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up somewhere a few years back - BBE May 2017. Pours black-brown with a frothy, beige head that fades. Nicely rounded, rich but not sugary, some black coffee, bittersweet dark chocolate, scorched earth. Full bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more dark chocolate, baking cocoa, bitter coffee, earth. Nice beer.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een hoppige geur. De smaak is hoppig, bitter en wat wrang.

Well stored bottle. Dark brown body under a small beige head. Aroma has coffee, cocoa and licorice. Taste is harsh coffee with cooked vegetables. This might be way over the top, would like to re-rate if possible.
