Small, pinkish head, irregular, fast gone over veiled red to terra-cotta beer. Sharpish barnyard & red berries' nose. Outspoken vinous character and aroma's. Vinous in flavour as well, with a sharp fruitacid & lactic ending. Honeyish, blossomy, but all sugars consumed. Watered fresh berry jam, redcurrant. Light body, feel is almost watery, as enhanced by acidthinning & spritzy carbonation.Very good fruitbeer. Maybe the flavours might be more bold, more explosive. Not easy with blueberries, but not impossible.

Head, as white rim, gone in seconds; clear darker golden beer, not very carbonated. Lactic acid, bit diary. Green fruit, rhubarb, unripe yellow fruit. Light barnyard odours, delicate. Sour fruit again in the mouth, really tart, unripe bananapeel. Again hints at barnyard. Acidbite, lipsmacking acidity, dry-out effect, serious acidthinning. Mild carbonation. It's not a gueuze. But it comes pretty near.

Very good, fluffy, very lightly yellowish head, fed by lively carbonated veiled ochre beer. Intense farmyard odours, lemon, wild yeasts, not unlike floormop Bretts, lemonrind, orangerind. Very lemony flavour if mild acidity; bone dry, even dry-out effect. Wild yeasts galore. Sharpish feel, some acidburn and acidthinning, Champenoise pearling. Excellent, simply excellent.

Murky orange with a thin head. Aroma of yeast and wheat. Flavour is sour Belgian, zesty grain on a long sour wheat finish.

Blended sour ale (made in Ireland), part of which has been mixed-fermented and barrel aged, thanks to 77ships for sharing. Egg-white, bubbly, thin head fizzing away like the foam on a glass of coke in instants, misty yellow-gold robe with ochre-ish tinge. Aroma of green gooseberries, unripe pineapple, green kiwi, crabapple, sourdough, Conference pear, chalk. Tart onset, lots of green fruit, gooseberries, sour grapes and green plums, apple peel, some unripe stonefruit wryness, medium carb with smooth mouthfeel; cereally, white-bready malt core under drying lactic sourness with a fruity character, quite refreshing, with a sour green apple note growing stronger towards the end. Strong tannic grape skin and wood effects lend the finish a vinous, drying, rich character. More than decent sour ale (or ‘saison’ as Anglo-Saxon lore dictates that saison should apparently be a form of sour ale, contrary to the actual Belgian saisons of nowadays), pleasant and enjoyable for sure.

half champagne bottle. no to odjechali irlandczycy z tym dzikim 3 letnim saisonem. coz za fermentacja i blend, kto by sie spodziewal ze posmakuje mi tu Pajotenlandem. zielona butelka z zielona etykieta tak jak koniczynka irlandzka skrywa moze nie takze zielone szyszki chmielne bo tu jest ich malenko, ale nie oto chodzi w saisonie, jest dziko, farmersko stajennie wrecz, podczas nalewania daleko bylem nozdrzami od malenkiej szklaneczki St. Feuillien saison glass a wyczulem mocno skorzane wkladki do butow, konskie siodlo, stajnie i mnostwo siana suchego w stodole. bardzo kwasne dzikie, agrestowo gronowe, mocno wytrawne cierpkie i po prostu fantastyczne

Bottle from Hoptimism. Initial sweet musty Blueberry aroma, before it becomes more vinous and earthy. Although the sweetness remains in the underflow. Ruby coloured, with a gold tinge. Foamy white head dies away in seconds. The flava caught me unawares. Sour with sweet and dry Blueberry. However the sourness then intensifies and a real tartness comes through. Mouth like a cat's bum time. Fruity and vinous. Underlying hints of sweetness. Medium bodied. It's probably slick but has a sedimentary mouthfeel and it's the dryness that really makes its mark, alongside average carbonation. Nice enough. Possibly too dry, I'd like more Blueberry juice.
