Description
Land & Labour is a side project from Galway Bay Brewery head brewer, Tom Delaney, focused in sour and wild beers. Their aim is to create mixed fermentation beers with Bretts and wild yeasts, without reaching a high acidity. They have created a separated environment for this side project, and imported aged foeders from Italy, France or Switzerland. It was started in 2018, and their first available references where presented in 2020.

Vintage 2019. 375 ml bottle. Piwo kwasne, lekko metne, piana niewielka lub nawet zadna. Pachnie kwasnymi cytrusami i ukwaszona kapusta kiszona z targowiska, prosto z beczki. Dobre. Polecam

Bottle at home, picked up from Yards & Crafts online, 05/06/22. Light golden yellow with a decent white cap ... the final pour gives to a deeper golden orange hue with some floaty / sediment friends offered. Nose is dusty apples, caramel, hop presence, citric tinged straw, grass, herb, trace of green berry funk. Taste comprises apple orchard, light spice, toffee apple, sage, hedgerow, twist of lime, dusty hop spattering. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, light drying close. Tasty stuff.

Sample during Leuven Innovation '22, shared with Tderoeck and Untappd duo.

Bottle from Beerdome. Hazy golden without head and with some floaties even though the bottle has been standing in my fridge for weeks. Aroma is sweet, malty, citrus, barnyard and wood. Flavor is medium sweet and rather acidic. Dry and rather acidic finish. Very gueuze-like. 160422
