About
The brewery was founded under the name of Brasserie de Bastogne in 2008 by Catherine and Philippe Minne (master brewer) and Philippe Meurisse and on January 26, 2008, the first beer - La Trouffette Blo - was launched. This beer was first brewed on commission at Brasserie Artisanale de Rulles. As of December 2008, the brewery has its own brewing installation and even more variants of La Trouffette were brewed.

In 2018 a brand new brewery was erected in Baillonville in the Namur province. This location was too far away of Bastogne so the name of the berwery was changed into Brasserie Minne. In February 2019 brewing started at the new futuristic premises.

Bottle shared at BBGG. Clear golden. Sugary grains, soft boost, peach, yoghurt, dry weedy hips, tannins, leather, brandy. Over medium sweet, less bitter and sour. Full bodied. A huge mess.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 09/2026.

Can. My first Ardenne Wood in can. Color: Black, brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, coffee, peated Whisky. Taste: Nice blend of roasted malt and peated Whisky. Slightly coffee-bean like sourness. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Moderate sweet and bitter. Dry-ish finish. Not your average peated Whisky Stout. Nice one.

Bottle from a Durbuy shop - many thanks to Anke! Gusher! Hazy orange, small, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of apricot, overripe nectarine, sourdough, grape, sherry, wood, sour cream. Taste has sour grape & apricot, some sweetish mandarin in a honeyish, jam-like malt body; funky sour cream (lactic acid) leads the way to a tart finish of woody tannins, lactic acid and warming sherry alcohol. Medium body, slick-moussy texture, fizzy to average carbonation. Enjoyable despite a slightly infected profile.

33cl can, BB 11/2026, lot# L25044.

330ml bottle from Vanuxeem. Pours a hazed orange, minimal head. Bristling wild tang from the off, nestled fruity elements, soft acidity, crisp palate, very well balanced, though not too much grape nuances. Wondrous all the same.
