Every sip of Scheldebeer has been brewed in our own brewery, build with love and care. We are ambitious brewers who prefer craft beers with a sense of the past and a taste of the present. True to traditions but always looking for an exciting balance between nostalgic and new, modest and daring. Our beers are unfiltered, unpasteurized and have bottle refermentation. Besides from all the natural ingredients we hope you'll taste patience and devotion in all the flavours. Cheers!

Bottiglia.

Pours a hazy golden/amber with a tall white head. Aroma of malt, fruits, yeast, plenty of spices, slightly hoppy. Yeast is quite pronounced. Peppery bitterness in the aftertaste. Good brew!

Pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma of yeast, fruits, spices, and especially hops. Nice marriage of Belgian yeast and (American) hoppiness, I enjoyed this one very much.

Brewed exclusively for De Belgische Keizer, Zwolle, The Netherlands. Pours a dark golden/amber with a white head. Aroma of citrus, banana, yeast, grains. Flavour is medium fruity sweetness. Very refreshing and tasty Witbier, worth seeking out if you’re ever in the area. Should taste even better on a warm summer day, will try again.

Dark reddish brown with a beige head. Aroma of bready malts, dark fruits, raisins, caramel. Flavour is much the same, malty caramel sweetness. Enjoyable Dubbel-ish brew.

Aroma of roasted malts, some chocolate. I did not detect much in the way of oysters/salt. Readily identifyable as a Scheldebrouwerij beer. Taste is rather sweet, like a good Quad. In fact, this is more like a light Quad than a Stout.

Aroma of malts, fruits, orange, spicy yeast, grassy hops. Flavour is yeasty and fruity, with some hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Unremarkable but tasty enough.
