Pigs Ear. The Long Good Friday teamed up with ChrisO. Pretty hazy amber beer, no real head. Light dry palate. Low carbonation. Dry malt, slightly sweet. Dried fruit hops. Dry finish. Crushingly ordinary and too dry.

On gravity at the Christmas Beer Festival, The Volunteer, Bristol 15/12/2012. Straw coloured with a decent, white head. Light hay, apricot and grassy hop aroma. Easy drinking, with cereal malts, more fruit and a decent, bitter finish. Fine.

Cask-conditioned at the South Wales Beeriodical, the Seven Stars, Bristol 8/11/2012. Deep amber in colour with a slight, white head. Aroma of tangerines and grassy hops. Flavour had marmalade and biscuit malts leading to a decent, dryish finish. Excellent.

Cask-conditioned at the South Wales Beeriodical, the Seven Stars, Bristol 8/11/2012. Clear gold with a slight white head. Light citrus and hay aroma. Flavour had some cereal malts, a touch of Clementine and a gently bitter finish. Good.

Cask-conditioned at the South Wales Beeriodical, the Seven Stars, Bristol 8/11/2012. Amber with a slight, off-white head. Well balanced best bitter, with a touch of hedgerow fruit, crisp cereal malts and a lingering, bitter finish. Very good.
