On tap at the Avenue Pub, NOLA. Black with beige head. Bit roasty, chocolate, cocoa, watery. Sweetish. Light to medium bodied.

Bottled May 2020. Very dark brown, creamy brown head. Malty smell, raisins, some chocolate, caramel, bourbon, rye. Smooth, rich and firm body. Taste is complex, plenty of both barrels, malty raisiny flavours, something licorice salty. Damn good stuff.

On tap pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is sweet chocolate cinnamon and roast. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate roast malts cinnamon.

Bottled April 22, 2020. Pours thick, brownish black thick sludge, with a fine brown head. Smells is rich, lots of sweet bourbon, subtle rye. Insanely thick and creamy body, pretty boozy. Roasty, bitter, chocolate, loads of rye. Bit too much barrel for me.

Bottle, 375 ml at my bday Grande Tasting. Black with brownish head. Decadent chocolate and bourbon. Vanilla. Traces of banana. Soft texture. Sweet. Medium+ bodied.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a bright, orange color, with a small, beige head. The aroma is pine, orange peel, and heavy resin, and mint. Sweet and malty, with a hard, sticky bitterness. Heavy, hard, and abrasive. Solid.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear, straw color, with a smallish, white head. The aroma is lemongrass, rosemary, water crackers, wet grass, and dusty attic. Sweet and grainy, with a sticky, crisp bitterness. Clean and quality.
