Description
Hill Farmstead Brewery is the culmination of many years of travel and insight—of experience and education—of friendships and explorations. The brewery is the revival and continuation of 220 years of Hill heritage and hand crafted history in North Greensboro, Vermont. Its logo is retrieved from a sign that once hung in Aaron Hill's (our great(x3) grandfather) tavern, just up the hill, in the early 1800s.

Can (8/10/25) from trade with ClarkVV--thanks, Clark! Lightly hazy, pale yellow, nice sparkle, ample head with excellent retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is pine, citrus and herb with a hint of white grape (would have guessed Nelson). Taste follows aroma but herb/white grape in the foreground, late pine and biscuit. Smooth texture, soft carbonation as taste with dry, lingering bitterness. A very nice representative of the style.

Bottling date May 4 2022. Tart blend of lactic, acetic and malic acids. Elegant, lots of nice graininess from the buckwheat and spelt. Touch of bright lemon and green apple, plus stone fruit skins and honey character without too much sweetness

Bottle shared by ClarkVV--thanks, Clark! Cloudy apple cider with ring of head and no lacing. Aroma is strong tart fruit, slight vinegar. Taste is strong sweet/tart fruit. Smooth, thin texture, soft carbonation, strong tart fruit finish. This may be an amazing farmhouse beer. I simply don't like them.

375 mL bottle shared by TJ on 11/1/25. As pictured.
Bright berry and healthy acidity. Juicy, tart, authentic with mild malt. Clean and lightly rustic but very fruit-focused, ultimately.
Juicy, soft, malty, quite acidic. Still plentiful deep malts, lightly chewy. Fruitiness and good levity lingering.
