Shared in VT. Rich and sweet, ample liquefied berries, raisins, gooey chocolate and toffee accents, mellow bourbon and creamy vanilla. Soft boozy kick. Mild roast. Lightly warming finish, touches of stickiness. Quite drinkable. Nice depth.

Damn that’s good. Bright lemony tang, relaxed acidity, a little grass, botanicals, tangerine, soft background funk, moderate salinity. Hugely drinkable.

Appearance: thick burnt orange color with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head which slid off very nicely to leave some mild lace.
Aroma: bittersweet citrus pith, citrus juice, grapefruit rind, piney hops, orangey hops over some very clean malts
Flavor: pure bittersweet juicy and resinous blend of those prior noted aromas, finishes clean amongst those hops
Texture: medium bodied, sessionable, good clean smoothness along my tongue
Overall: very nicely done NEIPA extremely welcome again in my life.

750mL bottle drunk 2/4/26, as pictured.
Lots of rich wine-like character with little hop remaining. Not overly woody, but there's certainly some barrel tannin structure. Mostly lactic acid here (as far as the Brett/Lacto/Acetic balance), but it's mostly round and fruity. Still very healthily aromatic with no oxidation or anything strange going on.
Interesting and different than expected. Lightly woody and lightly toasty with lots of lactic acidity, but not too much, and there's still a reasonable body/texture here at 5 years old. Some fruitiness and mild Brett retronasal, with cherry and plum lingering, as well. Overall, just a really easygoing, lightly woody, fruity, drinkable farmhouse ale with some interesting barrel and mixed culture character. Balance is quite lovely currently.

Smooth, caramely malty and heavy with toffee, some prunes, raisins, figs, vanilla, oak and bourbon. Quite balanced and tasty, old skoolish English barleywine. Nice.

Pours a dark, brown-black, with smallish tan head. Aroma is dark chocolate, roasted grain, coffee, leather. Flavors follow, with a touch of vanilla. Mouthfeel seems a touch thin.

Finally! After years, the final Poetica I've been missing. Starting to think they weren't going to brew this one again!
Lovely mineral with dried herb and light pepper. Lush malts showing dainty honey and rich bread. Not too much acid and exquisitely clean with a hint of soft wood.
Really nice oakiness in the mouth. It's slightly more than subtle, and adds a good complexity to the rich, but still well-attenuated, honey-like malt. Good breadiness/richness to it with ample, balancing bitterness from the dried herb-like hop character. Maybe not quite the finesse of some of the others in the series, but it's a tour de force of flavors and extremely satisfying drinking.

Canned On 11/04/2025 (November dus he?). Schenkt een troebele goud-oranje kleur met een standvastie witte kraag die maar heel langzaampjes inzakt. Geur van kruidige hop, zacht, licht harsig, thee, iets fruitig. Retronasaal is er meer fruit, maar ook weer wat hars, kruidige hop, en zelfs iets zoetigs. Smaak is gemiddeld bitter met een licht zoetje. Medium body. Zachte koolzuurprikkeling. Redelijk bittere nasmaak maar toch nog vrij mild. Goed spul die Society & Solitudes, maar de veschillende versies lijken wel op elkaar.

Fairly clean (except at the last pour - hazy), amber colour with a reddish hue, a small head that disappears rather quickly. Some good funkiness, sourness in the nose, mineral notes with the raspberries. This continues in the taste with the sourness being stronger, almost puckering, and lingering nicely with the raspberries. A tad tart in the end. Quite a nice, refreshing, sour-raspberry brew with a touch of woodiness and tartiness.

Appearance: beautiful hazy orange color with a one finger white foamy head which slid off at a great pace, barely any lace
Aroma: orange juice, very floral, extra citrusy and piney hop tones, clean crackery malts further down in there
Flavor: fully bittersweet through the blend of all the prior mentioned aromas, no aftertaste
Texture: medium bodied, great sipper, smooth along my tongue, finishes floral dry and orange juice-like
Overall: an extremely well done DIPA more than worthy of returning to.
