Dark roasted malt, citrusy and grapefruity. Citrusy and peachy. Dark roasted malty. Crisp hoppy and citrusy. Lingering hoppy and fruity. Bitter.

50 cL bottle, courtesy of BearsOnAcid. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is mild smoked and roasted malty. Light tarish. Smoked ham, bacon and liqourice. Tarish. Wooden and mild fruity. Light alcohol to bourbon-ish notes. Wineous fruity. Lingering dark malty, roasted. Mild acidic hard roasted note. Lasting dark malty and smoked lingering. Light bitter lurking through into the far finish.

Bottle courtesy of Owen, thank you sir! This had a bit less smoke and a bit less chocolate than the cabernet version, and the bourbon was pretty subtle. Tasty.

Bottle courtesy of Owen - thanks! This was my favorite of the series. Almost completely black. Aroma of campfire and ashtray, with flavors of chocolate and bitter cocoa. Great character and complexity. Heading in a good direction!

Growler. Pours dark brown with a thick, tan head. Lots of char, smoke and tobacco in the aroma. Flavor is high on roasted malts, with some nice, sweet malt notes. Medium in body with average carbonation and some roasty dryness and an overall smooth texture. Finishes sweet with plenty of chocolate and roasted tobacco. This is an excellent Porter. (4.2)

Growler. Pours clear gold with a strong white head. Lots of pine and citrus hops in the aroma, along with some honey malts. Flavor is quite sweet with plenty of caramel, followed by a powerful hop profile. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes mildly sticky with plenty of bitterness. Awesome APA.

Growler shared by JW77. Pours hazy orangish color with off white head. Aromas of grapefriuit and citrus. Citrusy flavor with some pine and caramel. Medium body with average carbonation and a slightly resinous mouthfeel. A nice DIPA. Thanks Jonathan.

Sampled at DC Epic Sour Tasting 2010. Pours a crystal clear, orange amber with a thin, creamy white head. Nice aroma, oranges, caramel, flowers, pine, candy. Flavor is bitter, lemons, grapefruit, white pepper, light candy. Full bodied, bitter and a touch salty. The bitterness is the star here and there’s enough light sweetness to keep it from being overpowering.

Sampled at DC Epic Sour Tasting 2010. Pours a pours a watery, nearly opaque black with a creamy, off white head. Nice hoppy aroma, C hops, lemon zest, pine, resinous hops, pine needles. Flavor is sweet, malty, bitter, lemons, nutty, chocolate. Flavor is like a black and tan made with a great IPA. Full bodied, sweet and a touch bitter through the end. Extremely drinkable.
