330ml bottle, BBE unknown. Look - Clear gold with small white head, good retention, high levels of carbonation. This looks like a lager all day long. Nose - caramel malts, veg, sweet citrus notes. Not unpleasant. Aroma is like an English gold beer. Taste - bready malts, sweet tangy citrus, grassy and slightly resinous middle, bold bitter finish. Old style IPA, not too bad. If Marston's did this I wouldn't bat an eyelid. Palate - medium body, sharp carbonation. Its ok.

330ml bottle from lowcostbeer.com @ 4.5%. Pours clear rusty red, small off-white head, thin retention. Classic red ale aroma of sweet malts, raisins, toffee although maybe a hint of metallic hop. Taste is a mixed bag, sweet, raisin fruitiness, caramel, rusty metal, astringent. Light to medium bodied, wet palate, carbonation is decent. Flawed beer but there are some nice flavour elements to this.

330ml bottle @ Cromwell's Tap House, Shrewsbury. Deep mahogany appearance, good off-white head. Malty nose. Not the best red ale, light grain, light sweetness, bittersweet malt.. Fine.

330ml bottle (4.5% ABV) shared with AndyTF2 at my place on 5th Apr 2021. Obtained from LowCostBeer and out of date (BBE Feb 2021). Clean red pour, off-white head. Malty front and fairly sweet, typical 'Irish Red'.

330ml bottle and my first South American rate. Dark gold, small white semi-fizzy head, moderate retention. Aroma of hay, light citrus, cardboard. Taste is caramel, citrus, stewed veg, mild bitterness, light to moderate body, decent carbonation. This is a bit of a cross between a lager and a golden ale. Its fine but not great.
