Cask at Watford beer festival 2022. A dark oily black brown coloured pour with a fading loose tan head. Aroma is thick chewy roast, Ash, tar, some berries, earth. Liquorice. Flavour is robust bitter roast, Ash, liquorice, char, woody bark, oil. Palate is oily, decent cask condition, robust.

Cask at Watford beer festival 2022. A clear mid gold coloured pour with a small loose white head. Aroma is sticky jammy citrus, orange rind, light toffee earthy, hedgerow hop. Flavour is composed of grassy hop, earthy hedgerow rustic bready grains, firm hop bitterness. Grass. Palate is grainy, straw, moderate cask condition. Decent.

Bottle at Beer Shop, St Albans. Pours purple to berry red, small pink cap. Aroma: sour cherry, brett. Taste: sour cherry, sweet cherry, brett, sour sour apple lambic tyle vibes. Light to medium body with light carbonation. Good one

Bottle split at the Watford Tasting, 11/03/22, thanks to Fergus. Black with a tan cap that clears to a swirl. Nose is dark malts, fruit cake, dates, mellow roast, nutty. Taste comprises rich roast, light charr, spice, toffee, chocolate, dried fruit rinds, figgy jam. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of alcohol. Decent well balanced old skool impy.

Panda thanks to Fergus: Poured an oily sludge black with bubbles. Aroma is thick espresso coffee, cocoa, fruits, roasted malts. Taste is dark chocolate, cherries, nutty, coffee, espresso, rich malty. Alcohol is well hidden.

(Bottle) Pours hazy ruddy light brown with small white head. Hibiscus aroma with metallic hints. Light body with good carbonation. Nicely sour with pleasant fruity notes at the start with some burnt sugar bitterness developing later in the palate. Unusual and pleasant.

Tap at creative juices Rickmansworth. A light hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a a lasting white froth. Aroma is floral, hedgerow hop, sweet bready grains. Flavour is composed of semi sweet earthy sweet grains, bitter grass, salt.. Palate is semi sweet, grainy, moderate carbonation.

Tap at creative juices Rickmansworth. A opaque dark caramel brown coloured pour with a loose mid tan head. Aroma is semi sweet milk chocolate. Nutella, creamy. Palate is semi sweet, creamy, moderate carbonation ok. Flavour is composed of mellow stout, mellow roast, milk nutty roast, decent. Rounded and creamy.

Tap at the watford Market pop up. A clear deep orange coloured pour with a a sticky white head. Aroma is nice mixed citrus, orange grapefruit, hedgerow hop, bready grains. Flavour is composed of earthy grains, grassy citrus orange, grapefruit peel, firm bitterness. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, moderate carbonation. Good.

Flavour is composed of earthy bresdy grains, orange rind tangerine, grass. Palate is semi sweet grainy, moderate carbonation. Decent.
