Cask at Cask pub and kitchen, Pimlico, London. An amber/golden coloured pour with a medium white head. Aroma of hops and tropical fruit. This tastes big, hoppy, tropical fruit, sweet, fresh bitterness, grapefruit, dry. Lovely IPA from Marble.

Cask at Cask pub and kitchen, Pimlico, London. An amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Smashing hoppy aroma. Tastes hoppy, citrus fruit, grassy, malty. Really easy to drink. Very well balanced IPA from the excellent Marble.

Cask at the Marble Arch, Manchester. Golden looks with a smallish white head. Juicy fruit and hop abounded in the nose and flavour which both had a real shine to them. Bitterness spot on. Supremely refreshing and glaggable. Just about all you could want in a summer brew. Only a pity we never had much of a summer itself up here in the North West (again).

Cask at CPK, London on 10th September 2010. Amber with a thin white film of foam for a head. Ginger and spice in aroma. Stinging ginger - GREAT! - in-mouth, lime citrus touches complement the gingery kick. Well-crafted, different and rather enjoyable!

Second rating: Small creamy offwhite head. Clear amber body. Spicy fruity ginger aroma. Dry floral gingery taste with spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, flat mouthfeel. Dryish gingery herbal aftertaste with grassy spicy wooden notes. Nice, drinkable, different. (0.284l cask at Marble Arch Inn, Manchester.) 6,4,6,4,13=3.3
First rating: Hardly any head at all. Amber body. Ginger aroma with floral notes. Very simple, but still very nice. Dry-sweet gingery caramelly floral taste with papery notes. Hot mouthfeel. Light body. Dry fruity ginger aftertaste with wooden dusty notes. Hot ginger taste lingers for a long time. Very nice. (0.5pt cask at the Rake, London.) 7,4,6,4,13=3.4

Cask handpull at The Rake, Borough. Gold slight haze, a little hoppy and just a little grassy. It’s very decent. Good. Lovely hops. Mind you the JHB was better.

Cask handpull at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico. Orange gold colour with a bit of haze. It’s good. Grassy hop, decent. Not my favourite of the Marble beers tonight. Still good, but maybe too grassy, sweaty sox hop.

Cask handpull at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico. Toffee grassy IPA. Good bitter hop on finish. Bit too grassy hoppy for me. Good though. Touch of diacetyl?

Bottled, thx to Menno. Dark brown color, short head. Aroma of some roasted malt, sour raspberry note, bit off-balance. Same goes for taste, the raspberry dominates the soft english style imperial stout and gives it a sour taste. Not much bitterness left.
