Draught at Sonoma Springs. Opaque black liquid with small light tan head. Aroma of citrus, coffee, tangerine and light grain. Taste is very light sweet and light to medium bitter with notes of coffee, citrus and licorice. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Quite nice.

Draught at Sonoma Springs. Almost clear deep copper liquid with small to medium off-white head. Aroma of herbs, spices, caramel, bread and toffee. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter with notes of toast, herbs and super metallic herbs. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Ugh, extremely metallic. Yuck. Undrinkable.

Draft at the brewery. Pours clear yellow with a creamy white head. Light buttery biscuit nose, dough. Light sweet flavor with more biscuits, straw, pale cereal. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sugary finish, some further biscuits, light bitter hay. Nifty.

Draft a the brewpub. Very bright yellow with a fine white head. Aroma is cereal grains, little plastic, Nobel hop. Flavour is composed of light veg, cereal grains, spicy hop. Palate is semi crisp. Moderate carbonation, semi sweet. Meh.

Tap at SF Beer Week Opening Gala. Pours very hazy chestnut, small tan head, some lacing. Aroma is roasty, notes of molasses and rye malt, with smoke and light chocolate. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, a hint of smoke. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel.
