Bottle from probably Mas Plenum, shared with AJ & H. Murky dark orange-amber body. Off-white head. Tart aroma, but full... orange and oakey but light saliva, spicy, peppery notes, quite well balanced. Lean, tart, juicy taste, some citric tartness, soft white grape raisins, vague acetic touches, fresh and tasty, soft light phenolic and tobacco touches. Pleasant really, balanced, tasty.

9-4-8-4-17 Bottle. Pours hazy golden, with a small rocky head. Aroma is acetic notes of apple cider vinegar, funk, floral brett and sour candy, as well as grapes, tannins and wooden notes. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is acetic notes of apple cider vinegar, wine grapes, funky notes with fruity brett and sour candy, as well as tannins and wooden notes. Balanced and moreish. Brilliant!

Five guys on a mission, Shrewsbury Beer Share in Chez Sophie: 9th Aug 2021. Cheers Mat for the 500ml bottle of this. Dull amber body, wispy white head. If it had been a blind tasting I would have said it was a Lambic that had been sweetened by something; it had that sourness and acidic base yet with a strange sweetness. Didn't pick up any Bourdon type esters or flavours.

500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Aug 21. Brought by me. Clear golden amber appearance, small white head. Candy sweet marshmallow aroma. Continues to taste, though fairly light on these flavours with soft bourbon, light funk. Needs a little more vibrancy of flavour, perhaps better fresh.

500ml bottle @ Free-Dumb tasting, Chez Sophie, July 21. Brought by me. Hazed golden amber, small white head. Medicinal aroma, to taste the rum barrel-aging blends wonderfully with the wild funky elements. Really nicely presented and a great introduction to this brewery. Very good.
