Sampled @ Extreme Beer Fest, 4 Feb, 17. Aroma has sweet caramel, light pine, and lime zest.

Taste is of sweet malts, light roast, wood notes, and ends on lime and lemon peel. Medium to lighter-bodied with bitterness not over the top. And the carbonation had liveliness and it finished on more Lime tones. I thought this was real creative.

Sample at EBF Saturday Roasty black ipa under there somewhere. Earthy herbal almost minty alcohol notes with a hint of lime. Its certainly a unique well made beer, but not sure I enjoyed it much.

Dark brown, aroma has some chocolate and roasty notes, with light fruit. Light saltiness, light fruit, and has a hit of chocolate and toast. Good balance and pretty tasty overall.

300 ml. bottle sampled @ home. Obtained in a trade with Marlos. BBF 08/05/2015. Odd hazy apple golden, very big visible carbonation, huge very quickly collapsing paper-white head. Nose is heavily yeasty with an odd apple / aspirin fruit-like sweetness, carambola I suppose, quite a lot odd yeasty, doughy fruit,… too much in my opinion. Taste is overly yeasty & overly carbonated, obscuring the odd vitamin & dough tad vitamin bitter fruit taste, light citrus & vitamin bitterness in the back,…. Way too much carbonation, way too much yeast & vitamin-like flavours, seriously over-carbonated,… Feels a bit like a wasted opportunity,… Manageable ‘though.

Bottle thanks to Henrique Braga. Murky dark orange with large spongy off-white head, floral hops aroma, low carbonation, moderately hoppy taste, medium finish with slight hops aftertaste. Could be more hoppy.
