Mi2 på Cardinal 9.12. ble en veritabel julekalender, ikke minst takket være Luis' presentasjon av canadiske øl, alle på 0,473 bokser: klar kobbergylden med fint skum som varer. Mild aroma, god maltsmak med fine doser furunålsbitterhet, lett krydret. Elegant balansert og med en tørr, laang avslutning. A very fine, no nonsence IPA.

Citrus, grapefrukt og et streif av mynte. En god ipa uten noen dikkedarer. Mersmaken var også fint til stede.

Shared can at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours almost clear deep golden with white head. Aroma of grains, pine needles, citrus. Tastes slightly bitter with balancing sweetness. Medium bodied, dry mouthfeel, bitter finish.

Mildly hazed, light golden-yellow colour with a big frothy white head, good stay and thicker soapy lacing. Big lemon nose with the zest, juice and sourness from the fruit. Zesty flavours with some light green hops and a tad tart in the finish. Some herbal notes do appear in the nose later. A refreshing NEPA with lots of citrus, mostly lemons, but all fairly light.

Hazy golden-orange colour with a frothy-bubbly white head, good retention and full sticky lacing. Citrus aromas with a touch of pineapple, peach and herbs. Tropical fruit flavours with citrusy zest, and the hoppy grassiness that is interesting and intense in a way. Almost like a charred grass. It all works out.

Bit weak body, fainting flavor. Okay, could be better. Thanks NFB and BR.

Lightly unfiltered golden-amber colour with golden highlights, a creamy-frothy, very long lasting warm off-white head and leaving thick foamy lacing. A nice mix of caramel malts in the base with citrus-melon notes. Fresh hoppiness in the taste with a resinous touch, white grapes, and blending candied oranges. Good smooth bitterness building for the style, but being a Double West Coast all well-blended. Quite delicious with the New Zealand hops and all.
