Bottle: Poured a hazy dark beige color ale with a really large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of rustic malt with nice spicy yeast notes is very enjoyable. Taste is also dominated by a yeast strain with a spicy character and some rustic malt with a dry finish. Body is quite full with super great carbonation. This saison is really flying under the radar but I would buy a ton of this beer if I was able to get access to this on a regular basis.

Bottle: Poured a clear dark black color ale with a large light brown foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with dry bitter notes with vegetables notes. Taste is also dominated by dry roasted malt with some light chocolate notes but also some overcooked vegetables notes with light green pepper finish. Body is a bit light for style with good carbonation. Definitely too light for style with some weird vedgy notes.

Bottle: Poured a light amber/orangey color ale with a relatively large foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of light citrus hops notes with some bitterness and dry caramel malt also noticeable. Taste is a nice mix between some dry caramel malt with light floral and bitter hoppy notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Good and easily drinkable but a bit low on the hops side of things.

This is an underrated beer, like some of the other chouape beers. Pours golden amber with great head and lacing. Coriander, light floral yeast, some booze and a light fruit cake sense. Leaves a little sweet, with a light note of bitterness. Good balance. Bottle from Bieres du monde.

Bottle: Poured a slightly hazy color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of rustic malt with sweet ester. Taste is a mix between some sweet candy-like undertones with some rustic malt notes also perceptible. Body is about average with good carbonation. Well brewed overall but does fall into the sweeter example of the style which is not necessarily my favourite flavours ion this particular style.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy dirty dark beige color ale with a large foamy head with great retention and some good lacing. Aroma of rustic malt with peppery and spicy notes is quite enjoyable. Taste is also dominated by rustic malt with some peppery and spicy yeast and a dry finish. Body is quite full with great carbonation. Great level of complexity while retaining some good drinkability and keeping the ABV at a moderate level.

Bouteille 500ml.
