Description
White Stork is one of the first commercial breweries based in Bulgaria and is a gipsy brewery (a.k.a. Ghost/Pirate/Nomad/Contract Brewery what ever you say). So we don’t own our brewing equipment and we don't care. This enables us to make the best quality and variety of beers possible at the best selected breweries and be able to reinvent ourself & our beers continually. We believe in the alchemy of craft beer, so be ready to be surprised!

Malzig weicher Beginn, schokoladig, milde Schärfe. Dann wässrig werdend, metallene Beinoten. Die Schärfe steigt dadurch leicht ab. Laffer Nachgeschmack. 11/9/8/7/8/7

MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: citrus, sweet touch, pretty bitter and hoppy. Aftertaste: hoppy, fruity, bit sweet, caramel, pretty bitter finish. Decent one!

330ml bottle, gift from ippopotamo36 (thanks Alberto!). Pours amber with a minimal off-white head. Aroma is yeasty, orange peel, some bubblegum, pepper. Flavour is quite balanced but boring, mild malty, sweet with a decent bitter end. Thin body, medium to light carbonation. No...

Bottled 330ml. -Hazy orange/golden coloured, medium sized white head, mild yeasty nose. Sweetish malty, yeasty, light spicy and some overripe fruits with heavy carbonation. Dryish finish. In general ok.

Pours a clear amber color, topped with a big, fluffy and very lasting off-white head. Very mild, almost non-existant aroma. Just some mild fruity notes can be noted and slightly malty as well. Taste is sweet, malty, some fruity feel to it, with a bit of spiciness present, but very gentle. Some hints of bitterness are there, but only just. Light , almost a bit watery, but drinkable. Nothing spectacular.

BOTTLE 33CL from ivodoni1. Thanks, Ivo! Na zdrave!
Look: cloudy amber, off-white frothy to creamy head.
Aroma: spicy, bready and biscuity, with tart dried fruit accents (cranberries?).
Taste: sharp co2 bite (despite the humble head), dry and drinkable, a bit thin in the middle, toast, some rye-like spice with light fruity notes. Very light bitter spicy and fruity finish. Quite well integrated and authentic brew.

Bottle shared at home in London - picked up at Kanaal in Sofia. Pours hazy amber-gold, lightly effervescent, with some floaties and a creamy white head. Lots of bread in the nose, some ripe fruits, orange, some yeast. Medium sweet flavor, plenty of bread, some dough, Belgian yeast. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Fairly sweet to finish, some dry bread, more yeast, hints of well ripened fruits. Tasty and nicely balanced.
