Description
White Stork is one of the first commercial breweries based in Bulgaria and is a gipsy brewery (a.k.a. Ghost/Pirate/Nomad/Contract Brewery what ever you say). So we don’t own our brewing equipment and we don't care. This enables us to make the best quality and variety of beers possible at the best selected breweries and be able to reinvent ourself & our beers continually. We believe in the alchemy of craft beer, so be ready to be surprised!

330ml bottle, thanks Zozo. Pours murky orange, medium white topping. Aroma has bright passionfruit and citrus. Taste is pithy, moderately prickly, lots of passionfruit juice, hoppy citrus with complimenting lime and grapefruit. Very good fruity sour IPA.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up in Sofia, likely at Nosferatu. Pours deep brown with a fluffy khaki head. Lots of ashy roast in here, black coffee, dry scorched earth. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dry finish, ample bittersweet baking cocoa, more ash, bitter coffee. Pretty straightforward. Not bad.

Bottle. Hazy brown color with eggshell head. Aroma is piney, grassy, chocolate, brown sugar. Taste is brown sugar, chocolate, yeast, grassy hops. Velvety mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Quite an intense Black/Brown IPA

330ml bottle. Slightly hazy orange with a frothy white head. Aroma of fruity citrus hops, malts. Taste of citrus, orange, mild grapefruit, light sweet malts, caramel, mild spice, bitter finish. Medium body, soft carbonation. Apparently this was the first Bulgarian craft beer, if so then I suppose this is a pretty good effort.

Clear blond colour with lasting head. Aroma has pleasant fruity hop notes. Flavour is somewhat flatter and weaker. Hop notes disappear. Light malt sweetness. Slight butteryness. Gets worse as it goes on.
