JDW Fest Autumn 2010
Cask @ Edward Wylie, JDW. Light golden colour, small white head. Aroma is light malted, bit of sulphur indeed, maybe hint of vegetables. Flavour is light malted, bit hoppy and fruity, followed by dry biscuit. Dry and bitter finish. This is good stuff.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol 2/11/10. Brown with a decent, off-white head. Sweet, red fruits and caramel aroma with a touch of hazelnut. Flavour was much the same with a decent, bitter finish. Ok.

JDW Fest Autumn 2010.
Cask @ Counting House, JDW. Black colour, medium tan head. Aroma of light roasted malts, hint of coffee. A bit non-descriptive. Flavour is lovely roasted malts, some coffee and slightly sour fruits, maybe blackcurrant. Smooth and very enjoyable.

Cask, handpump at a JDW in Leith, Nr Edinburgh in company of Craig, Rob and his mate (sorry forgot name) & Loz 29.10.10 Pours dark amber in colour. BIt chewy in the mouth, there was some dispute amongst our group over whether there were indeed chestnuts in this or whether chestnut was just the description of the colour (Rob’s theory) , I personally found there to be a nutty creamy taste which I would liken to a chestnut, distinctly fruity, tasty beer. Cask, handpump at JDW Heathrow Terminal 5 at 6am 29.10.10 Nice hops on nose appearance is clear golden with a touch of white bubbles around the rim. This is reasonably hoppy, bitterness is lovely not at all harsh but definately present and showing throughout. Hops are very fresh and clean tasting. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Spoons Fest! Lightly hazy gold beer with a residual white head. Light crisp palate, semi dry. Bitterish grapefruit hops with some sulphur in the background. Dry spicy finish. Okay but was hoping for something hoppier and without any bloody sulphur! 5-3-5-3-11 2.7
1st November 2010
Crisp orange-lemon-grpaefruit, fairly bitter. Not getting the sherbert chacracter I’ve heard some say this beer has but at least it is now a pleasant sulphur free beer.
