Brown color. Nice malty, sweet aroma. Unfortunately it has a too thin mouthfeel, poor.

Bottled. Cloudy golden with a lot of sediment, no head. Yeasty and honeyish nose. Sweet and mild deceivingly soft for such a strong beer. The flavour consists of layer after layer of honey. Special and quite tasty, but one-dimensional.

The aroma is perfumated with notes of strawberries and raspberries. The color is a hazy orange and it has a fine head. The flavor is weird dominated by strawberries and ending with a acidic dryness on the tongue. Get the strawberries out of beer - this is my second strawberry beer - and neither has been anything I liked.

Yeasty, fruity aroma with some phenolic emanations. Dark brown in colour with off-white head. Sweet tangy mouthfeel with fruits like peach our pears, some raisins preserved in rhum, a bit of bitter chocolate, light hops in finish.

Deep red-black colour, little brownish head. Malt, spicy aroma. Malty and spicy flavour, really enjoyable. The initial flavour is sweet and it ends sweet bittery. Fine beer.

Blond non-transparant colour with almost white head. A lot of bubbles in the body. Weak, little spicy aroma. A quite flat flavour: it do starts sweety, but gets bitter in the end.

Deep dark brown; huge yellowish, nearly apricot tinted head. Bitterish nose, typical roasted/burnt malts. There's coriander there. Taste comes up with coriander again, soupy & perfumed. Taste is much sweeter than the nose, though some of the roasted malts persist. Very well-bodied, quite heavily carbonated. I'm not overly fond of this malt-bitter spiced soup. I seem to be in a minority.

Very good aroma, almost a Liquorice scent to it along with a slight fruity aroma.Very weak head though, didn't even last until I took a drink 3 min after I poured it. Taste is thick and full of flavour. Strong flavour of roasted malt. Very good beer if you like a full body. Cheers!

(alias Durboyse brune) I drunk this beer in a Leffe glass and actually it looked like a brown Leffe. It's brown colour and brownish head are appealingly simular. The aroma is sweet an malt with a malty spices in the undertone. Although it seemed like a Leffe, it didn't tasted like. Very spicy and a little malty, although not dimensioneous. The aftertaste is spicy and quite long.
