On tap at Kerelshof Cassel. Hazy golden brown colour lasting white head. Aroma of biere de garde and pepper. I mean it's got some pepper. it's funny. it's light pepper but persistent. a mix of white and black pepper. flavoursome yet with a hint if pepper heat sur le finish. I liked it. bit of sweetness. odd but better for being on tap

750 ml green bottle, Lot 985, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Nearly clear blonde colour, large white head. Pleasant aroma of malts, spicy yeast and stewed yellow fruits. Soft mouthfeel. The flavour has distinct notes of spicy yeast, stewed fruits and herbal hops. Well balanced.

Bottle pour from Andover Classic Wines. It's a hazy dark yellow with fine particulates caught in suspension, tons of sparkle, 2-finger width rocky white foam head with good retention and splotchy soapy lacing. Aroma is tart/sweet/bready fig newton, caramel, oak. Taste is as aroma mixed with a pilsner in a Solo cup found the night after a party. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, strong aroma and flavor for the ABV. Interesting funky right on the border of bad. Liked it more than I thought I would.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Porter & Sons in Tel Aviv. Cloudy amber. Oak, oxidation, a bit of acetone, some fruitiness, wine, mildlysourish.

Gyllenbrun med lyst beige skum. Lukter malt, og noe krydder. Maltpreget i smak. Sødme i munfølelse. Karamell og litt krydderier 🙂.

Bottle. Unclear pale golden body under a fine white head. Light and delicate aroma, slightly spicy and floral with a fruity touch. Taste goes much in the same direction, mild, smooth, elegant, subtle with a floral/spicy touch. Balanced body and some sweet pale malt in aftertaste together with bitter hops. Delicate and thirst quenching.
