Golden orange with a firm off-white head. Candied dried fruits, bright spice, yeast, earthy, bright citrus. Medium bodied. Finish has some spice and black pepper. Very beautiful beer.

Hard to fault it for the style. Lovely Belgian yeast expression,
toasted wheat flakes, nips of candied sugar, a hint of toffee, booze. Massaging carb. Punchy in its way but seriously and dangerously drinkable. A little grassy bitterness in the finish.

23/XII/25 - on tap, shared with the misses @ Beer Square (Lille), BB: n/a (2025-1452)
Little cloudy orange gold beer, big creamy dense off-white to yellowish head, a little stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, rural, barnyard, some dried orange peel, yeasty, coriander, spicy, bread crust, a little oxidized, cheesy touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter start, banana, hoppy, oxidized, orange peel, malty, grains, cow fodder, spicy touch. Aftertaste: malty, grains, banana peel, a little metallic, some caramel, some almonds, a bit soapy, floral, very yeasty, ok but not great. More of a Belgian Tripel vibe than a(n imperial) saison.

Golden color with lasting thin foam. Hoppy bitter and spicy aroma and matching flavor with a horse blanket taste at the end.
